THE DANTE ALIGHIERI SOCIETY WELCOMES EVERYONE TO THE FESTA DI NATALE PER I BAMBINI Saturday, December 3 rd , 2011 We will be celebrating Natale again this year, come rain or snow or shine, at our Headquarters House on Beacon Hill for the enjoyment of all our children and those young at heart as well! We look forward to seeing La Befana re –create her role and to tasting the delicious pizzelle – a favorite Natale tradition. The story of the presepio will be told again, and this year we are bringing a new Gesu Bambino figure to the presepio from Castrovillari, Calabria! Yes, the original figure broke many years ago and we were finally able to find a suitable replacement while on a CAI hiking trip in Italy! Cari amici Beginning Monday March 9th, 2015, local realtor and all-around character David Madrid will be hosting a new radio show called "Northwest Italian Radio Show." The show will air every Monday from 3-4 on KKNW 1150-AM. Each week, David will share stories, music, and information about the Italian Americans and their history in the Greater Northwest Region - in the spirit of the PBS TV show "The Italian Americans." David will have guests on his show to share their memories.... "Just like sitting around the table after a Sunday dinner". So make sure that you tune in to this great show. HIKING

Sunday  October 7 Artist Point   Mt. Baker  5,100feet We  have multiple choices as soon we get to the destination,actually if you want you just walk the trail around the parking lot and it is very beautiful, or we can hike to Table Mountain 3 miles.Also we can go to Chain Lakes On the way back I strongly suggest to stop at Picture Lake to take some pictures The forecast is really nice Appointment at 7:30 at the P&R Park and Ride at the 164th St. exit off I-5 This is the first exit (#183) after I-405 joins I-5. Go left over the freeway and go right at the second street.   Next right is the Park & Ride.
