Turn left (north), crossing under the free wa y, and continue to the end of the road at the Alpental Ski Area parking lot. Sunday 11 Skyline Divide , One of the best hike in the region, 6 miles R/T, 2500 feet elevation gain.Moderate Appointment 8:00 at the Park&Ride 10 min waiting time.Hopefully we can carpool Direction to the P&R Take I-5 Northbound exit # 183 turn left 164th St. SW take the 1st right onto Ash Way If you want to drive,appointment at 10:30 at the trailhead Northwest Forest Pass is required From Bellingham follow the Mount Baker Highway (State Route 542) east for 34 miles to the Glacier Public Service Center. Continue east another 0.8 mile, turning right onto Forest Road 39 (Glacier Creek Road).
