City of Seattle is recognizing our Sister City Perugia

This is an announcement that the City of Seattle is recognizing our Sister City Perugia, Italy, in a reception at City Hall on May 9, from 6-8:30 PM: Each year, the city honors four sister cities out of 21 that participate in the Seattle Sister Cities program. Each of the four honored cities provides entertainment from its region (Perugia will have an opera singer) and recipes for an international buffet. Carl Spence, artistic director of the Seattle International Film Festival, will speak briefly about the film festival and how other cultures can be explored and better understood through film. The cost is $30 for adults, or $25 for members of any of the 21 sister city organizations. Lots of great raffle items will be available. Raffle tickets sold at the event are $5 each or 5 for $20.
