Aaron Caruso in Concert
Perhaps you'll remember Aaron Caruso, an Italian-American tenor from New York who performed at the Italian Festival in 2007 and was warmly received. In a couple weeks he'll be performing fairly close by in historic Port Ludlow. The drive and ferry ride are extremely scenic so you may want to make a weekend of it.

If you're ever thought about checking out Port Ludlow, you might want to consider coming across the Sound (via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry, Seattle-Bainbridge ferry or Narrows Bridge) to the Bay Club on Saturday night October 22, to hear Italian-American tenor Aaron Caruso. He will showcase the beauty and power of an operatic-trained voice singing marvelous Italian songs ranging from "Con Te Partiro," popularized of course by Luciano Pavarotti, and pop songs including Dean Martin's hit, "Volare."
Raised in Michigan, Caruso attended the world-renowned Interlochen Arts High School, then earned his B.S. in Vocal Performance with an Italian minor from University of Michigan. He studied opera with Maestro Luigi Veccia from Rome both in New York and in Italy. He learned the art of entertaining an audience with Danny Marona, a 10-time Reno "Entertainer of the Year."
He has been chosen to sing the role of Mario Lanza in the eagerly-awaited "Be My Love," slated for Broadway. Tony Bennett when he heard him sing said, "You sing like Mario Lanza, I want to see you in the movies."
Caruso has performed to a sold-out audience at Carnegie Hall in a tribute to Lanza, on a Red Carpet event for NBC at New York's Columbus Day Parade and at St. Patrick's Cathedral in the presence of former-Mayor Rudy Giuliani and some 2,000 firefighters and policemen. A strong believer in promoting his rich Italian heritage, Caruso has headlined many Italian festivals across the nation, including New York, Boston, Seattle and many more.
